Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mac Specialist to join our IT team. This mid-level role will focus on IT infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, staff and client support, and ensuring the smooth operation of systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have experience in system administration, network support, and a strong understanding of IT security best practices, including instant solutions for a fast-paced Ad Agency team of Graphic designers and artists who work both at home and at the company headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering IT support and assistance to staff, including onboarding, offboarding, system maintenance and updates, and supporting clients with offsite hardware and software support.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, network devices, and systems to ensure optimal performance, both onsite at the company's headquarters and for remote staff.
  • IT Asset Management
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure
  • Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance on IT systems
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies to protect company assets and data
  • Administer user accounts and permissions
  • Support cloud infrastructure and manage cloud-based solutions
  • Document IT processes, system configurations, and technical troubleshooting steps
  • Collaborate with other IT team member to execute IT projects and deployments.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending new IT solutions to improve business operations
  • Support entire staff's use of desktop, laptop computers and IPhones/mobile devices to sync with the latest software upgrades and company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology is preferred but not required, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT system administration or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of MAC hardware and software, Adobe Suite, Linux systems, Windows Servers, and virtualization technologies
  • Proficiency in networking concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/WAN architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms.
  • Experience with IT security practices and tools (e.g., antivirus, endpoint protection).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with team members and end-users effectively.
  • Awareness of new technology across all digital, print and technology platforms, seeking forward-leaning solutions to enhance the company's productivity daily and in the future.
